Naya Rivera

Naya Rivera is an American performer and actress best known for her portrayal of Santana Lopez on the musical comedy television series Glee and for which she earned a nomination for the Emmy Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in an Comedy Series in 2011. She became a well-known actress, and won numerous awards in Hollywood including ALMA Award.

Perry was born to Laurie Metcalf (actor) and Jeff Perry (actor). Her first roles on television included two episodes in the role of Jackie Harris (as seen in flashback) on the ABC sitcom Roseanne as the character played by her mother. Her parents did not allow her to perform in front of her family until adulthood, as they feared the strain it might cause.
