Lisa Olivia Munn was conceived in Oklahoma City. Her mother, Kimberly Schmid, lived in Vietnam and has Chinese origin, and her father, Winston Barrett Munn, is from a family with strong roots in the American South. Olivia was just two years old when her parents separated. Her family consisted of her stepfather and mother, both of whom who was an United States Air Force member. Even though the family moved out of Oklahoma and stayed in various places, she was brought up at Tokyo, Japan. At the time, she appeared in several local stage productions. Then she was an Japanese model. As the family retreated back to the United States, Olivia moved to Los Angeles to pursue her ambition of becoming an actor. Then, after some tiny roles on television programs with Hawaii lenses (such such as Beyond the Break), she was able to land the role of Mily Acuna, and was offered the job of Rob Schneider's receptionist for Big Stan. She hosts podcasts "Formula D", "The Daily Nut" along with "The Daily Nut". It is her favorite pastime to surf, and she has been practicing since the TV show Beyond the Break (2006). Additionally, she holds black belts in Taekwondo. In the age of two, her mother got married. The second time, she got married to the son of a US Air Force serviceman. They have relocated numerous times. She was a majority of her youth in Tokyo Japan due to the fact that it was the location where her father was stationed. In the University of Oklahoma is where she studied journalism with minors in Japanese as well as drama and dramatic arts.
