Summer Bishil

Summer Bishil (born June 15 in 1985) is an American actress who is best recognized for her role as Margo in the series 'The Magicians' the Syfy show that was a fantasy drama until the year 2015. The role she played before was that of an Lebanese American teenager, Jasira Maoun (13 years old) is a character who lives turmoil in the context of the U.S. invaded Iraq in the Gulf War, in Alan Ball's film "Towelhead" that earned her recognition. The year 2007 saw her voted as a finalist by Variety among the "10 most watched actors". In 2009, she portrayed Taslima, a powerful female lead in the crime thriller film Crossing Over, which earned her an nomination for the "Independent Spirit Award" in the category of 'Best Female Leading'. As well as starring in a variety of films like Mooz-lum, The Last Airbender, Pop Star and ?Under the Silver Lake', she's been an actor in a variety of television shows as well as recurring characters in various other movies.
